Security & Discretion
Confidential by design. Evidence-qualified by discipline.
DEVIS handles sensitive questions about real people, companies, capital, transactions, and reputation. Engagements are scoped, access-controlled, lawfully sourced, and qualified by evidence status.
How we hold it
Discreet by default.
- Confidential engagements. The fact that a client is reviewing a subject, counterparty, company, or transaction is treated as confidential.
- Need-to-know access. Engagement material is limited to those required to scope, perform, supervise, administer, or protect the work.
- Lawful sourcing. DEVIS uses client-provided material and open, public, registry, commercially obtainable, and lawfully accessible sources. No pretexting. No unlawful access.
- Evidence qualification. Material findings are qualified by verification status: confirmed, unverified, contradictory, or unresolved.
- Controlled output. Deliverables are prepared for the client and the stated purpose. Wider distribution is controlled by the engagement terms.
- Professional use only. DEVIS is intended for professional and institutional decision-making, not consumer, employment, tenant, insurance, credit, or public-facing determinations.
What we keep, and what we do not
Client material is not the product.
DEVIS does not sell client material, trade it, or provide it to other clients.
- Where the platform improves, it improves through method — operating discipline, signal handling, quality control, and structured analytical process. It does not improve by exposing the specifics of one client’s engagement to another.
- The client decides what to provide. A sprint may use client-provided documents, but the core work is scoped around lawful intelligence gathering, evidence qualification, and connected analysis.
- Retention is purpose-bound. Engagement material is retained only for as long as required for the engagement purpose, client access, legal record-keeping, auditability, dispute protection, security, and legitimate business administration.
Ask DEVIS and Engagement Separation
Interrogation stays inside the engagement.
Ask DEVIS follows the access permissions applied to the underlying Sprint. It is designed to answer within the completed report and approved engagement record rather than use one client’s report to answer another client’s questions.
Entity & jurisdiction
Switzerland-based. Built for discretion.
DEVIS by Nathan Office operates from Switzerland. Engagement handling, confidentiality, governing law, data protection, permitted use, retention, and distribution are documented in the relevant engagement terms. If a client requires specific handling requirements, restricted distribution, procurement language, internal compliance review, or additional confidentiality provisions, these are addressed during scoping and documented before work begins.
