Two Focused Sprints

Point it at a company. Or point it at the deal.

Both Sprints run the same five lenses, the same sixty sources and the same consequence work. The difference is whether the second story is about the company, or about the deal being done with it.

Company Sprint

3 credits

A Connected Read on One Company or Counterparty.

It is designed to answer:

“Who and what are we actually relying on?”

  • Early target screening
  • Sell-side preparation
  • Counterparty assessment
  • Supplier or partner review
  • Borrower or acquirer review
  • Portfolio-company assessment
  • Management and ownership review
  • Testing whether a matter deserves deeper specialist diligence

Output

  • Honest headline
  • Material findings
  • Evidence status

  • Questions and next moves

  • Ask DEVIS

A Company Sprint supports a decision involving the company. It does not require a complete live transaction to be defined.

Deal Sprint

5 credits

A Connected Read on the Transaction and What the Exposure May Affect.

A Deal Sprint places the Company-level analysis inside the specific context of a live or prospective transaction.

It examines the relevant parties, transaction structure, ownership and control, commercial assumptions, financing, valuation logic, dependencies, timing, integration and negotiation position.

It is designed to answer:

“What may this exposure mean for the transaction we are considering?”

Typical uses

  • Buy-side diligence
  • Sell-side readiness
  • Pre-LOI or post-LOI review
  • Investment committee preparation
  • Financing and lender discussions
  • Transaction structure review
  • Integration planning
  • Counterparty and control analysis
  • Testing material assumptions before deeper commitment

Output

  • Decision and transaction context
  • Honest headline
  • Company and Deal findings
  • Evidence status
  • Transaction-consequence map
  • Questions and next moves
  • Receipts

The Same Core Discipline

Nothing is held back for the more expensive one.

  • People lens
  • Financial lens
  • Structural lens
  • Regulatory lens
  • Political lens
  • Evidence qualification
  • Cross-lane signal connection
  • Transaction-consequence mapping
  • Six-part report structure
  • Ask DEVIS

People-related exposure is assessed within Company and Deal Sprints. DEVIS does not offer a standalone Person Sprint.

Not sure which one? That is what the call is for.

A discovery call or scoping discussion establishes the company, transaction context, available evidence, intended use and limits of the work.

DEVIS will explain whether a Company Sprint or Deal Sprint is the appropriate route and where the platform can and cannot assist.
