How we hold it

- Confidential engagements. That you’re looking at all — and at whom — is treated as sensitive. We don’t reference clients or subjects to anyone outside the work.
- Need-to-know access. Material is seen by the people working your engagement, not the wider world. Access is limited, deliberate, and accountable.
- Lawfully sourced. DEVIS reads the open and obtainable record — filings, registries, the public trail, and what you choose to share. No pretexting, no unlawful access.
- Honest about evidence. Every material finding carries how far it’s verified — confirmed, unverified, or contradictory. We’d rather tell you what we don’t yet know than dress a guess as a fact.
What we keep, and what we don’t

DEVIS is a system that gets sharper over time — and we’d rather be straight about what that does and doesn’t mean than make a promise the architecture can’t keep.
- Your confidential material isn’t a product. We don’t sell it, trade it, or hand it to other clients.
- Where the system improves, it improves on method. The discipline learns from how investigations are run — not by exposing the specifics of who you looked at to anyone else.
- You decide what you hand over. A sprint runs largely on intelligence we obtain ourselves; what you share is your call, and it’s held to the same standard.
The precise wording of retention, handling and confidentiality is being finalised with our legal counsel and will be reflected in the Terms and Privacy notice before launch. If you need specifics for your own compliance, raise it on the call and we’ll put it in writing.
